One man becoming healthier

Tonight I was thinking and I am going to write it out.

I want to be the father my father was. I want to be the coach of my children's sports teams, I want to help them with their home work, I want to provide for them and make sure I can give them everything they need. I want to teach them how to be good people, I want to see them off on their first day of school. I want to teach them to shave and help them fill out their college applications. I want to give them advise they will laugh at and years later look back and say, dad was right. I want to see them graduate and get married. I want to be called grandpa by my grandchildren and spoil them rotten.

I want to celebrate my anniversaries, birthday's and special events with Kara. Travel to fun filled family vacations where are children call us lame but always have fun. I want to grow old with her and sit on our porch and talk about how the old times were better. I want to go shopping for grocery's and sit around and watch tv together. I want to provide for her and make her happy.

I want to be proud of my family we have created and raised and have them be proud of me. I want to be a positive force in all the lives of my loved ones.

And that is why I have made the changes I have and I am working on being the best father and husband I can be.
