So a month has gone by and a lot has happened. I ran in a 5k race and ran a 25:14 at a 8:08 pace. I was amazed. I loved competing in it and it was so much fun. I have continued to run since but not in great consistency. I multiple time including in North Carolina when we were there and maybe the lack of consistency has helped my quad fell better since it has stopped hurting(I injured it before the 5k race). I have been reading a lot about strides and pacing and all that good stuff including injury prevention, we will see how it works out for me as I get back into it.

So last week we went to the Outer Banks with Kara's family. We had an absolute blast. The kids loved the beach and loved hanging out with their uncles and aunt (6 and 8 respectively). They played in the sand everyday and Kaidan was swimming in the pool with only his life jacket and no assistance by the end of the trip.
Baby Alert: I think I had said this before my Kara is pregnant. She just hit 21 weeks and we know we are having a baby girl. We are very excited about have a girl and can not wait till her arrival in October.
